WELCOME TO THE FIRST MCL-BEER CITY CORNHOLE LEAGUE!
We are so excited to have fun bringing everyone together and taking the Michigan Cornhole Community to another level. LETS PUT THE GAME BACK INTO THE SPORT!!
LEAGUE FORMAT:
-2 Person Teams
-Round Robin using Scoreholio (tablets will be provided)
-Download the Scoreholio App https://scoreholio.com and set-up a free account
-The league is a total of 6 weeks.
-The first five weeks are for points and playoff seeding.
-The sixth week is a double elimination tournament cash payout.
-Teams will play 5-6 games per night based on time/teams/lanes.
REGISTERED PLAYERS:
-There’s only two players per team on the roster.
-If any registered player misses more than two (2) weeks that team will not be eligible to participate in the playoffs.
-The only exception is if the same sub replaces a registered player and completes three (3) of the five (5) weeks.
-TIE BREAKERS
Tied "match" records at the end of the season
Head-to-head matchup
Fewest Games Lost
Most games won
Point Differential
MCL POINTS:
-Points will be awarded based on final regular season standings.
-Only the two players on the official roster will be awarded league points based on regular season.
-Playoffs will only be for cash and have no value for points.
FORFEITS:
At least one “REGISTERED PLAYER” must always be at the league night for match play.
If a team doesn't have two players matches for that night are forfeited.
SUBS:
DURING THE SEASON
-You cannot use a sub from inside the League
-The sub must be from outside the league and must be equal or lesser ranked/skill level as partner.
-Subs do not need to be paid MCL members but must sign up for a free MCL membership to sub.
-There are no subs allowed in the playoffs
MEMBER REGISTRATION:
-YOU MUST BE AN MCL MEMBER TO PLAY IN THE LEAGUE.
